Dallas Karting Complex

We had a great time. I read a lot of reviews before going there. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The first car I drove had a strange vibration but it still went fast enough to qualify for the more costly and scary fast go carts (which I highly recommend). The corners are a bit slick but they are an opportunity to have some fun drifting. Great job DKC! We go back for sure.

The one thing my husband really wanted to do on our trip was karting. We were so happy he found this place while visiting Texas. This place was packed with people from all ages but the wait wasn't long at all. Super big tracks compared to the indoor places we have back in California. The staff was helpful and friendly and gave us the best advice on where my kids and i could safely watch the drivers. Everyone had a fun time even if we weren't driving the karts ourselves.

Awesome setup here! Staff was on top of their game and let us have fun without being dangerous. Karts could have been maintained better. Ran 3 races in two different karts, one blew the left front on the 3rd lap… It takes a lot to have a kart tire go flat lol 75 bucks for 3 races in the “adult” karts. Plenty of fun to be had in them, for a decent rate.

The cars available for racing are extremely old and in terrible condition, with some maneuver malfunctions that make them highly unreliable. The tires are also in poor shape, adding to the danger of the experience. The racing tracks themselves are incredibly slippery, they even announce that loud and clear AFTER charging non refundable money and just right before the race and it is truly difficult to control the cars. To make matters worse, the management on site is mostly not present and responsible. In case of an incident or injury you see their real face, highly unprofessional and immature, with zero responsibly. They just force customers to sign waivers that absolve them of any responsibility in case of an incident caused by their faulty cars and equipment. They also refuse to provide any incident reports, leaving participants with no recourse in the event of an injury. To add insult to injury, the paperwork for the paid insurance is not provided upon request, leaving customers with no proof of coverage. The personnel are also highly disorganized, frequently making mistakes with participant names, either duplicating them or removing them entirely from the screens. Overall, the safety standards at this racing facility are abysmal, with no one taking responsibility for the injuries that could result from the use of their old and worn-out cars. Our experiences with this facility was a complete disaster, and we strongly advise against wasting your money and risking your health and safety by going there.

Great, fast karts. Excellent, well maintained track. Renter helmet was even decent. Love that they have options for kids to ride along. Glad there was a shady upper porch to watch races from. What could use a little work is the process. For a first timer it can be a little confusing where to go, what to do, etc. Seems a bit like an insiders club until you wander around enough to figure it out. But once you know, you'll be coming back for more!
